Red Legacy Labs is a small, intentional program focused on preserving the temperament, structure, and rich fox red lineage of the Labrador Retriever.

Our foundation begins with Archer, whose pedigree traces back to traditional English lines. As we grow, every decision—from health testing to pairings—is made with long-term soundness and integrity in mind.

We are not a volume breeding program. Our goal is to thoughtfully continue a line we believe in, producing well-balanced dogs suited for both family life and field.

Sterling “Archer” Everett

Archer is the foundation male behind Red Legacy Labs — a fox red Labrador Retriever selected for his temperament, structure, trainability, and lineage.

He is a steady, affectionate, and highly people-oriented dog with a calm presence both in the home and outdoors. Archer maintains strong natural retrieving instincts while remaining balanced and adaptable in everyday life.

As both a family companion and working-minded Labrador, Archer represents the qualities we believe are worth preserving: sound temperament, functional structure, and a grounded, eager-to-please nature.

Health & Pedigree

At Red Legacy Labs, health and long-term soundness are prioritized above volume or convenience.

Archer has undergone comprehensive health testing to support responsible and intentional breeding decisions. Documentation and results are available upon request for approved pairings.

Our goal is to preserve the integrity, temperament, and traditional qualities of the fox red Labrador Retriever through thoughtful, well-matched pairings.

Sire Terms

At Red Legacy Labs, we approach every pairing with intention, prioritizing health, temperament, structure, and long-term breed preservation. Archer is offered on a limited basis to approved, health-tested females whose lineage and temperament complement his own.

Stud services may include natural breeding and/or fresh chilled AI depending on location and timing. A repeat breeding is offered in the event no pregnancy is confirmed.

Because we value quality over quantity, we reserve the right to decline pairings that are not aligned with our standards or program goals.

All females must have current health testing completed prior to approval. At minimum, this includes hips, elbows, and relevant genetic screening appropriate for the Labrador Retriever breed.

Health documentation may be requested before confirming a pairing.

Depending on location and timing, Archer is available for:

  • Natural breeding
  • Fresh chilled AI arrangements

A repeat breeding is offered during the dam’s next heat cycle if no pregnancy results from the original pairing.

Veterinary confirmation may be requested.

No. At Red Legacy Labs, pairings are considered carefully based on health, temperament, structure, and overall compatibility.

We reserve the right to decline pairings that are not aligned with our standards or breeding goals.

The dam owner is responsible for:

  • Progesterone testing
  • Veterinary reproductive services
  • AI-related costs
  • Semen shipping (if applicable)
  • Any travel or boarding expenses

Archer is offered on a limited basis in order to prioritize thoughtful pairings and maintain his overall health and wellbeing.

Availability may vary throughout the year.

Yes. Pedigree and health documentation are available upon request for approved inquiries.

Current stud fee: $1,000

  • Limited breedings available annually
  • Repeat breeding offered if no confirmed pregnancy results
  • Dam owner responsible for veterinary and breeding-related expenses
